St. Martha students donate stuffed animals

[slideshow] Students at St. Martha School, 2825 Klondike Lane, held a prayer service on the school’s football field on Oct. 4, the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. The students collected 403 stuffed animals that were donated to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the St. Joseph Children’s Home.

At the prayer service Deacon Daniel G. Bisig blessed the recipients of the stuffed animals. Additionally, several class pets including a snake, a rabbit and a lizard were also blessed.
