St. Martha Church to hold fall parish mission on devotion to Mary

virgin-mary-wSt. Martha Church, 2825 Klondike Lane, will hold a fall parish mission Sept. 17-20. The mission — “All Generations Shall Call Me Blessed” — will focus on why the devotion to the Blessed Mother still matters in the 21st century.

Father Mark Baron will serve as homilist for the Sept. 16 and 17 weekend Masses, as mission speaker Sept. 18-20 and will hear confessions. Father Baron is a priest of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception and serves as prefect of seminarians for the order.

“A Musical Celebration of Mary” will take place Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. The event will feature Randy Albright, a nationally-known singer and songwriter.

There is no cost to attend but free-will offerings will be accepted.
