St. Edward Church to hold ‘Community Health Fair’ Sept. 23

St. Edward Church will hold a “Community Health Fair” on Sept. 23 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the parish hall at 9610 Sue Helen Drive.

Health professionals will be on hand to provide stroke screening, blood pressure checks, eye examinations, neck massages, BMI and nutritional information, physical fitness suggestions, fire safety and more. There will be free activities offered, too, as well as flu shots provided by Hume Pharmacy, which will be given at a discounted rate of $20.

There will be an area for children to color and draw while they wait for their parents to view the various booths. And there will be on-going demonstrations of martial arts.

CPR and AED demonstrations and practice will be available, as will door prizes, popcorn and water.
