St. Albert students take part in KET Media Lab workshop

St.AlbertChurch-2017-fA group of 30 students from St. Albert the Great School traveled to the studios of Kentucky Educational Television (KET) in Lexington, Ky., Oct. 10.

The group participated in KET’s Media Lab workshops, which offer hands-on training in basic video production and editing and the use of iPads and smartphones to create multi-media projects.

St. Albert added a graphic design and video production program to its curriculum this year.

“The students gained valuable experience and knowledge that can now be utilized when working on video production projects at school,” said a statement from St. Albert.

KET described itself in a press release as Kentucky’s “largest classroom, where learning comes to life for more than one million people each week via television, online and media.”
