The Office of Multicultural Ministry will offer Spanish classes for pastoral leaders or those who wish to communicate with their faith community on topics related to formation.
The class will discuss the alphabet, examples of conversations, parish rectory or pastoral center dialogue, Mass terminology, parish ministry and religious education.
This class is designed for pastoral associates and administrators, parish staff, directors of religious education and anyone else who ministers to the Spanish-speaking community. No previous knowledge of the Spanish language is required for this class.
The classes will be held Sept. 10, 17 and 24 at the Maloney Center, 1200 S. Shelby Street, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The cost for the book and materials is $50. To register for the course or for more information, contact the Office of Multicultural Ministry at 636-0296. The deadline for registration is Sept. 6.
