Small prayer blankets needed for patients in hospitals

The Catholic pastoral care teams at Baptist Health, University of Louisville Hospital, Kosair Children’s Hospital, Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital and Jewish Hospital are seeking donations of small prayer blankets.

The blankets will be blessed and given to hospital patients of all ages — from senior citizens to infants and children. Currently, blankets intended for adults are needed most.

All blankets should be about 29 inches by 29 inches — similar to a receiving blanket. And each blanket will have a prayer attached to it. A pocket may be attached to the front of the blankets to hold a prayer card.
