Sister of Charity of Nazareth Jane Hall dies April 1

Sister of Charity of Nazareth Jane Hall, 83, died at Nazareth Home on April 1. She was in her 65th year of religious life.

Sister Hall, the former Sister Ann Cabrini Hall, served for 39 years in Kentucky and Tennessee in elementary and secondary education, as both a teacher and principal.

In the Archdiocese of Louisville, she taught at Presentation Academy from 1964-65 and at Trinity High School from 1969-1991. Sister Hall also served at the Sister Visitor Program from 1991-92; at the St. Joseph Day Development Center from 1992-93; and at Nazareth Home from 1993-2007.

Sister Hall served in the Apostolate of Prayer at Nazareth Home since 2008.

Survivors include two brothers, Jim and Phil Hall, both of Louisville; nieces and nephews; and members of her religious community.

Visitation will be at Nazareth Home April 3 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Church, 1920 Newburg Road, April 4 at 10 a.m., followed by burial in Nazareth Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
