Sister Helen Ann Stuart dies at 89

Ursuline Sister of Mount Saint Joseph Helen Ann Stuart, 89, died April 15 at Mount St. Joseph, Ky. She was in her 63rd year of religious life.

Sister Stuart was a native of Daviess County, Ky., and taught at St. Francis of Assisi School in Loretto, Ky.; and at St. James, St. Edward and St. Leonard schools in Louisville. She also taught in the Diocese of Owensboro, Ky.

Survivors include a sister, Martine Greenwell of Albuquerque, N. M.; a sister-in-law Agnes Stuart of Owensboro; nieces, nephews, cousins and the members of her religious community.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held today, April 19, at Mount Saint Joseph. Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph 8001 Cummings Road, Maple Mount, Ky. 42356.
