Sacred Heart Academy’s entrepreneurship team placed second at the Junior Achievement Startup Pitch Competition April 25 at the Kentucky Center for the Arts.
The team presented a plan for a leather bracelets company named “Leatherlets.” Prior to the competition, team members made leather bracelets, wrote a business plan and met with a business coach.
The winning team was chosen for the “strength and completeness of the team’s submitted business plan,” according to a statement from the school. The team took home a $200 check.
