Serra Club to hear about Medjugorje

The Serra Club of Louisville, which has the mission of fostering and promoting vocations to the priesthood and religious life, will hold a luncheon meeting Aug. 20 at the University Club on the campus of the University of Louisville. The meeting will be held at 11:45 a.m. and the speaker will be Jim Dunn of St. Aloysius Church  in Pewee Valley, Ky.  He will speak on the visions and history of Medjugorje.

Other upcoming Serra Club luncheon programs will include a presentation by Mark Joseph on Sept. 27. He will speak on “The Fellowship of Catholic University Students.” And on Oct. 1, Father Patrick Dolan will speak on “Diocesan priestly spirituality — Understanding Your Clergy Better.”

Both programs will be held at the University Club and will begin at 11:45 a.m.
