Scouts from the American Heritage Girls, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana and Troops of St. George gathered Aug. 1 at the Archbishop’s Luncheon for Scouting at Holy Family Church. Scouts helped serve lunch to about 50 people who attended, including Fathers Martin Linebach, Troy Overton and Kirby Rust. The luncheon, hosted by the Archdiocese of Louisville’s Catholic Committee on Scouting, aims to promote all Catholic scouting as an important element of youth ministry.

Emmett Wilson, below left, and his sister Adele, a member of Girl Scout Troop 611 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, helped serve lunch.
