Sacred Heart wins lacrosse championship

Sacred Heart Academy’s lacrosse team won the Kentucky Scholastic Lacrosse League state championship 20-6 in a match against Eastern High School May 18. The game was played at the Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Field on the campus of Ballard High School.

It’s the school’s fifth championship in the program’s history, according to an announcement from Sacred Heart.
