Sacred Heart Academy wins
field hockey state championship

Sacred Heart Academy’s varsity field hockey team won the Kentucky High School Athletic Association’s state championship (1-0) against Assumption High School Oct. 25. It’s the team’s second straight state title.

Senior Libby Parsons was named Most Valuable Player and Lindsay Schiavone and Sloane Wearren were named to the all-tournament team.
