The Record will adopt new deadlines in January

The Record is establishing new deadlines for news submissions and advertising reservations.

Beginning Jan. 12, all news and event announcements should be submitted to The Record no later than 2 p.m. on the Thursday prior to the desired publication date.

Catholic churches, schools and organizations are encouraged to submit news regularly to The Record. And the new deadline should not discourage submissions. But announcements that are time-sensitive must be submitted at least a week ahead. As always, The Record encourages submissions be made at least two weeks ahead of upcoming events.

Advertisers who wish to purchase space in The Record should reserve space no later than 2 p.m. one week before publication, too. The content of the ad must be submitted on Fridays by 2 p.m. and print-ready files on Mondays at 10 a.m.

Email The Record at record@archlou.org for news or advertising@archlou.org for advertising. You may also call 471-2125, fax 636-2379 or visit vtherecordnewspaper.org.
