A gathering in support of families will be held June 21 at 3 p.m. in front of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Office Louisville Office, on the east side of Seventh St. in front of the I.C.E. building.
Father James Flynn, one of the event’s organizers, said the group seeks to urge immigration officials to stop separating families who have come to the United States seeking refuge.
“We have been horrified by reports of separating parents from children and incarcerating them separately,” said Father Flynn, a retired priest of the Archdiocese of Louisville.
