‘Rachel’s Vineyard’ retreats for healing after abortion planned March 20-22

Two Rachel’s Vineyard retreats, for those healing after an abortion, will be offered the weekend of March 20-22.

According to the organizers, “Rachel’s Vineyard is a safe place to renew, rebuild and redeem hearts broken by abortion.”

The retreats aim to “offer a supportive, confidential, and non-judgmental environment when women and men can express, release and reconcile painful post-abortive emotions to begin the process of healing,” organizers said.

An interdenominational Rachel’s Vineyard retreat will be held near Nazareth, Ky., from 4 p.m. on Friday until 3 p.m. on Sunday. To register, contact Rev. Dr. Linda K. Johnson at 502-235-3191. The cost for the weekend is $95, which is a discounted rate. The deadline to register is March 5. For more information, go to www.stahealingky.org.

A Catholic form of the Rachel’s Vineyard retreat will be held near Nashville, Tenn., from 5 p.m. on Friday until 3 p.m. on Sunday. It will include Mass and the sacrament of reconciliation.

To register, contact Wendy at wendyc@hopeafterabortionky.com or 270-474-4707. The cost is $160. Financial assistance is available. The deadline to register is March 18. For more information, go to www.hopeafterabortionky.com.
