Program on abolishing death penalty to be held in Bardstown April 16

“Catholic and Kentucky Death Penalty Abolition Efforts” will be the topic of the April 16 Faithful Citizenship Luncheon to be held from noon to 1 p.m. in Bardstown, Ky.

The luncheon will be held at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral’s Flaget Hall, in the Maloney Room.

The presenter for the event will be Catherine Jarboe of the Catholic Mobilizing Network to End the Use of the Death Penalty. She is from Washington, D.C. The luncheon is sponsored by Catholic Charities’ Nazareth Office and is free. A light lunch and drinks will be provided or attendees can bring a brown bag lunch.
