Presentation Academy observed International Day of Non-violence by holding a silent demonstration in front of the school at 861 S. Fourth St. Oct. 2. Students, faculty and staff held placards, linked arms and stood on the sidewalk for five minutes.

The students made signs in theology class with different messages — some asking for an end to gun violence and others bearing the names of individuals who were the victims of violence.
