Dr. Leah Bayens, chair of the Earth Studies Department and coordinator of the Berry Farming Program at St. Catharine College in Springfield, Ky., will lead a program called “Ruminations ‘Round the Woodstove: a Discussion of the Bill Moyers Interview with Wendell Berry” on Dec. 15.
The program will take place from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Plowshares Farm Center for Education and Spirituality, 12704 Campbellsville Road in LaRue County, Ky.
The discussion of the interview, which took place at the college last spring, will also feature a potluck meal, according to a news release from Plowshares Farm. Attendees will share a meal, then watch the interview. Afterwards, according to the release, they’ll “gather around the woodstove” to consider Berry’s thoughts, analyses and suggestions for the future.
Registration is limited, so people are asked to RSVP at 270-735-5265.
