Record Staff Report
Divine Mercy Sunday, April 28, will be celebrated at several parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville. Following are events that have been submitted to The Record:
- St. Athanasius Church, 5915 Outer Loop, will offer confession from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. and rosary at 2:30 p.m., followed by Mass and Eucharistic adoration. Carmelite of Mary Immaculate Father Shibu P. Devasscutty will preside.
- St. Patrick Church, 1000 North Beckley Station Road, will hold Eucharistic adoration from noon to 3 p.m. Confession will be offered at 1:30 p.m. and the rosary at 2:15 p.m. The Divine Mercy Hour will begin at 3 p.m. For more information, visit www.stpatlou.org or call 244-6083.
- St. Paul Church, 6901 Dixie Highway, will offer reconciliation at 2 p.m. followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and rosary at 2:45 p.m. A Chaplet of Divine Mercy video will be shown at 3:10 p.m., followed by Eucharistic adoration at 3:30 p.m. Evening prayer and Benediction will begin at 3:45 p.m. For more information, contact Carol Masters at 424-6446.
