Our Lady of Peace program offers seminar on social skills

Our Lady of Peace, part of the KentuckyOne Health system, will host a free seminar for parents called “Level the Playing Field: Teaching social skills to children with developmental disabilities.” The seminar is part of the “Peace for Parents” program at Our Lady of Peace.

The seminar will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 5 at Jewish Hospital Medical Center East, 3920 Dutchmans Lane. Peace for Parents is a series of free seminars to help parents with school-age children deal with topics that, while common, might also be difficult to navigate.

Kim Dwyer-Moore, a behavior analyst with Our Lady of Peace, will lead the seminar, which will include interactive discussion and a question and answer period. Registration is free and can be done by calling 479-4495. Advanced registration is encouraged.
