New Jersey priest marks jubilee with a Mass in Louisville, his hometown

Father Peter J. Krebs, a Missionary Servant of the Most Holy Trinity, celebrated the 50th anniversary of his ordination with a Mass at Our Lady of the Woods Chapel at Bellarmine University on May 18.

Father Krebs spent his childhood in Louisville and attended St. Francis of Assisi School. He entered seminary of the Missionary Servants in 1956. He holds a doctoral degree in psychology and is the former director of the Shrine of St. Joseph in Stirling, N.J.

He founded Sacred Thread Ministries, based in New Jersey, in 2014 to help people discover God’s presence in their lives.
