New book celebrates the life of deacons and families in archdiocese

“The Life and History of the Diaconate in the Archdiocese of Louisville” is the title of a newly released book about the “people and stories of the diaconate community.”

The book, written by the women of that community, tells the “motivational and touching stories about deacons and their wives and widows,” said a statement from the diaconate office.

The book is available for sale for $15 per copy and an additional $6 for shipping. The books can be ordered and picked up in person at the diaconate office.
