Monte Cassino pilgrimages set

Pilgrimages to the Monte Cassino Shrine in St. Meinrad, Ind., will be held on four Sundays in October. Services at the shrine will begin at 2 p.m. (CDT) and will include hymns, a short sermon and a rosary procession. Following is a schedule of homilists:

Oct. 6 — Benedictine Brother Luke Waugh will speak about “Mary, Mother of Healing.”

Oct. 13 — Benedictine Father Barnabas Gillespie will speak on “And Mary Waited Outside.”

Oct. 20 — Benedictine Father Jeremy King will give a homily on “Believer in the Promise.”

Oct. 27 — Benedictine Archabbot Justin DuVall will give a homily on “Mary, Mother of the Light.”
