The National Conference for Catechetical Leadership (NCCL) has honored Dr. Sue Grenough with the Distinguished Service Award.

The award recognizes the “good works of someone who has spent many years in catechesis helping individuals and communities encounter the Good News of Jesus,” said a statement from the NCCL.

Grenough served for 16 years as director of religious education for the Archdiocese of Louisville. She also served as a high school Latin teacher and as president of the NCCL. She was presented with the award at the NCCL’s annual conference in Chicago at the end of May.
