Listening session about racism to be held at University of Dayton

The USCCB Ad Hoc Committee Against Racism will hold a listening session on March 8 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kennedy Center at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. It will be the third in a series of listening sessions that the committee is holding across the nation.

The purpose of the listening session is for bishops and other leaders in the Catholic Church to hear directly from those who have been wounded by the sin of racism. The session will feature 25 three-minute testimonials and will enable attendees to develop a greater understanding of racial discord within the Church and society.

Those who plan to attend should email Deacon Royce Winters at rwinters@catholiccincinnati.org.
