Information sessions on Worldwide Marriage Encounter event set for Dec. and Jan.

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Family Ministries Office will offer information sessions in December and January about the upcoming Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend, which is scheduled for Feb 10 to 12 at the Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality in New Albany, Ind.

Worldwide Marriage Encounter is “for couples who want to make their good marriage even better,” according to the organization’s website.
The Family Ministries Office calls it “one of the preeminent ways available today of strengthening and enriching marriages, no matter how long you have been together.”

During the information sessions, couples will have the opportunity to learn more about the encounter weekend. Sessions are scheduled at the following locations:

  • St. Gabriel Church, 5505 Bardstown Road, in loft one on Dec. 21 at 7 p.m.
  • Holy Trinity Church, 423 Cherrywood Road, in the multipurpose building Jan. 12 at 7 p.m.
  • The Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral in Bardstown, Ky., Jan. 24 at 7 p.m.
