Holy Cross students participate in day of service

Students at Holy Cross High School participated in the school’s inaugural “Great Day of Service” Sept. 25 where 263 students and 24 staff members volunteered at eight local non-profit agencies.

In the photos above, students volunteered at Catholic Charities’ English as a Second Language school and the school’s childcare program.

In addition to Catholic Charities, the students and staff served at Dare to Care, Junior Achievement, Big Brother/Big Sisters, Louisville Nature Center, Louisville Metro Animal Services, Parkway Medical Nursing Facility and Supplies Over Seas.
