The Catholic Enrichment Center (CEC) will honor six individuals and an organization during its 8th annual Heroes of Hope Awards celebration Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. at the center, 3146 W. Broadway.
The event is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Louisville Office of Multicultural Ministry (OMM), which receives funding from the Catholic Services Appeal, and will honor individuals, businesses and agencies that “contribute to and support youth development, family and individual empowerment,” a news release from OMM said.
The 2018 recipients are:
Cheri Bryant Hamilton, District Five councilwoman; Lilian Coleman, St. Martin de Porres Church; Lee Ewing, St. Augustine Church; Marvina Lewis; Immaculate Heart of Mary Church; Anita Miles; Christ the King Church; Conventual Franciscan Father Conrad Sutter; and Norton Faith and Health Ministries.
