The Gennesaret Retreat for the Seriously Ill will be held June 6-8 at the Abbey of Gethsemani south of Bardstown, Ky.
The retreat is designed for persons who live with chronic, life-threatening illness. It provides rest, prayerful reflection and daily conferences.
The Eucharist is celebrated daily and the sacrament of the sick is offered. The staff for the retreat includes an experienced nursing staff with additional team members who will provide hospitality, companionship and personal assistance for all those taking part in the retreat.
The retreat is free as a result of the generosity of many donors.
