A Gennesaret Retreat for the Seriously Ill will be held Oct. 25 to 27 at the Abbey of Gethsemani south of Bardstown, Ky.
The retreat is designed for persons with chronic or life-threatening medical conditions. It provides rest, prayerful reflection and daily conferences.
The Eucharist is celebrated daily and the Sacrament of the Sick is offered. The staff includes experienced nursing personnel and additional team members will provide hospitality, companionship and personal assistance for all retreatants.
