The Gennesaret Retreat for the Seriously Ill will be offered June 3 to 5 at the Abbey of Gethsemani near Bardstown, Ky.
The three-day retreat is designed for people with chronic or life-threatening medical conditions.
The Eucharist will be celebrated daily and the sacrament of the anointing of the sick will also be offered. The retreat will “provide rest, prayerful reflection and daily conferences,” according to the organizers.
The retreat staff includes experienced nurses and additional people who can provide hospitality, companionship and personal assistance to each retreatant.
