The Archdiocese of Louisville, together with thousands of other churches, is working to address the needs of the nearly 10,000 children who are in foster care in the state of Kentucky.
A “Wait No More – Preparing Hearts and Homes for Kids in Foster Care” informational event will be held at Ninth and O Baptist, 4401 Breckenridge Lane, on Aug. 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
According to an announcement about the event, attendees will learn about foster care and adoption; hear about real-life experiences; learn how to get involved through foster care, adoption through foster care, or supporting a family who does; connect with local community agencies and ministries; and explore the part they can play in fulfilling God’s command to care for children in need.
All are invited to attend this free event.
