Fifty-two students are named Governor’s Scholars

Fifty-two students who attend Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of Louisville have been selected for the 2016 Governor’s Scholars Program. Those selected for the summer program and their schools are:

  • St. Xavier High School — Tyler Barnes, Chad Bauman, Chase Bauman, Steven Bennett, Stanford Broadwater, Paul Brooks, David DeGeare, Nicholas Lanning, Cameron Luker, Nicholas Meredith, William Reynolds, Christian Tobbe and Truman Tyrer.
  • Sacred Heart Academy — Maggie Cahill, Natalie Graf, Sarah Graham, Kathryn Haering, Mary Hardy, Claire Hilbrecht, Elaine Jury, Grace Mock and Allison Morcus.
  • Assumption High School — Kathleen Connelly, Hannah Gruneisen, Elizabeth Hamilton, Madison Harrington, Allison Revers, Lindsey Smith, Ashley Will, Holly Zoeller and Allison Priebe.
  • Bethlehem High School — James Blandford III, Jacob Curtsinger, Davis Downs, Isaac Edelen, Kristen Sedlatschek and Natalie Shain.
  • DeSales High School — Ryan Carlin.
  • Mercy Academy — Amanda Beavin, Rebecca Dever, Lilly Kramer, Madelyn Olges, Morgan Rohleder, Briana Ruzanka and Margarete Tompkins.
  • Presentation Academy — Vivian Bowles.
  • Trinity High School — Zachary Allen, Benjamin Carper, Hays Galloway, Patrick McCarthy, Jacob Steele, Justin Young and Carl Grief.
