Festival of Faiths will launch ticket sales at a free event Jan. 26

The Festival of Faiths will present “Faith and Science: What Moves Hearts” at the Brown Theatre, 315 W. Broadway, on Jan. 26 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The free program will serve as a kick-off to the 2019 festival, which is set for April 25-27 with the theme “Sacred Cosmos: Faith & Science.” Tickets sales for the festival will begin that day — available at the launch and at KentuckyCenter.org with an early-bird discount.

The launch event is free and coffee and muffins will be served beginning at 9 a.m. Presenters will include Mayor Greg Fischer; Dr. Ali Haider, who inspired the Festival of Faiths multi-faith blood drive; the Rev. Corrie Shull of Burnett Avenue Baptist Church; and Garrett Bartholomew a St. Xavier High School student and regular blood donor.
