Father Adam B. Carrico, 32, was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Louisville Dec. 19 by Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz at the Cathedral of the Assumption in downtown Louisville. He has been assigned as associate pastor of St. Gabriel Church, where he also served as a deacon. In an interview with The Record in early December, Father Carrico said the urge to connect with others and a deep sense of service guided his journey to the priesthood.
