Faith leaders urge support for Hunger Walk

Dare to Care Food Bank held a press conference Aug. 20 announcing its 41st annual Hunger Walk. Local faith leaders, including Deacon Scott Haner, a permanent deacon at St. Patrick Church and chair of the board of directors of Catholic Charities of Louisville, joined together to invite the community to support the food insecure in the Louisville community.

The Hunger Walk, Dare to Care’s largest and oldest fundraiser, is set for Sept. 22 at 2:15 p.m. at Water Front Park’s Harbor Lawn.
