St. Francis Xavier Church in Mount Washington, Ky., will hold an electronics recycling event on March 19 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Most items will be recycled for free, including cell phones, speakers, fax machines, DVD players, laptops, telephones and other items. A small fee will be charged for items containing lead, such as TVs, CRT monitors and microwaves.
The event also will include free paper shredding. A portion of Proceeds from selling recycled materials will be donated to Catholic Charities of Louisville.
