The Passionist Earth & Spirit Center at 1924 Newburg Road will present two programs to aid in understanding Pope Francis’ encyclical about caring for creation.
On Aug. 15, the center will lead a bus tour around Louisville highlighting environmental challenges and noting social justice concerns facing the community.
And on Sept. 21 the center will begin a 10-week course called “Contemplation and the World (Meditation 3),” which combines meditation and contemplative prayer with concern for the planet.
