Dominican Sisters of Peace to offer service and reflection opportunity

The Dominican Sisters of Peace are sponsoring a five-day prayerful service and reflection opportunity for single Catholic women, ages 18-45, who are discerning a possible call to the religious life or lay ministry in the church.

The experience is scheduled for January 4-8 in New Orleans, La., and will include prayer, service, community and fun.

Participants will live together in one of the sisters’ small community houses, will cook a meal for several homeless families, rebuild a house over a span of several days and more. Group prayer and reflection will be included to explore the connection between service and justice. Time for individual reflection time will also be included.

Free room and board will be provided. To register, go to https://oppeace.org/mission-immersion-weekend-january-4-8-2019 or contact Dominican Sister Bea Tiboldi by email at btiboldi@oppeace.org or by phone/text at (614) 400-1275. Space is limited.
