A free screening and discussion of the film “Documented” will be held at the Village 8 Theater, 4014 Dutchmans Lane, on April 25 at 7 p.m.
The film, written and directed by Pullitzer Prize winner Jose Antonio Vargas, fouses on immigration.
A panel discussion will follow the screening at 8:30 p.m. Panelists include Sagar Patagundi of the Kentucky Dream Coalition, Ghanian American Sam Asomoah, Guatelaman American Juanita Perez, Maria Scharfenberger of La Casita Center and Vargas. Pam Platt of the Courier-Journal will be the moderator.
Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to benefit La Casita Center, a non-profit organization that works with Hispanic and Latino families in the areas of education, advocacy, wellness and mutual support.
