DivorceCare will share information about church teaching

St. Bernadette Church will offer a DivorceCare program titled “Where is my place in the church? Can I participate in ministry? Can I receive Communion?” May 21 at 7 p.m. at St. Bernadette Parish Center, 6500 St. Bernadette Avenue.

Father Terry Bradshaw, pastor of St. Bernadette, will be the presenter.

The program is intended for people who are separated, divorced or remarried, a news release from the group said. At the meeting, participants will gain knowledge about the church’s teachings on marriage/divorce, learn about regional efforts to minister to the separated/divorced and hear facts about the annulment process, the release said.

For more information or to register, call Bob Sugrue, director of adult formation at St. Bernadette, at 815-3105.
