Catholic Charities is collecting donations for storm victims

Catholic Charities of Louisville is collecting donations to aid victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Contributions may be made to help victims on the East Coast of the United States or those in the Caribbean. Donations made to U.S. relief will be forwarded to Catholic Charities USA which is coordinating relief efforts with dioceses in the affected areas.

Donations to the Caribbean will be forwarded to Catholic Relief Services, which is delivering relief supplies to victims of the storm. CRS is the international aid agency of the U.S. bishops.

Donors should indicate in the memo line of their checks “for Hurricane Relief” and may note where the funds should be directed.
