Bellarmine University awards more than 600 degrees

Bellarmine University students, above,  processed into the Owsley B. Frazier Stadium, 2001 Newburg Road, May 12 where a commencement ceremony was held and 618 degrees were conferred. Below, students waited for the ceremony to begin. The degrees awarded during the May 12 ceremony included 474 undergraduate and 144 graduate. Bellarmine awarded 878 degrees total during the 2017-2018 academic year, including those who graduated in August and December. Bellarmine has an alumni community of more than 23,000 members. Susan Cameron, a 1987 graduate and former president and CEO of Reynolds American, served as the keynote speaker.
