Bellarmine hosts program on art and music

“Illuminating the Word through Art and Music,” will be presented at Bellarmine University’s Our Lady of the Woods Chapel March 2 at 7 p.m. by the Archdiocese of Louisville Chapter of the National Association of Pastoral Ministers.

The program will begin with a presentation by Dr. Melanie-Prejean Sullivan on the “St. John’s Illuminated Bible,” a replica of a hand-illustrated Bible on loan to Bellarmine.

In addition, Dr. Paul Weber, director of music at St. Martin of Tours Church, will discuss incorporating Gregorian chant into parish music and will provide an opportunity to sing chant.

All are welcome and parking is available in the lot adjacent to the chapel.
