The Catholic Enrichment Center (CEC), a ministry of the Office of Multicultural Ministry, will host a series of ballroom dance classes on Mondays and Thursdays this summer. Dances that will be taught include the cha cha, the foxtrot, the jive, the waltz and the samba.
The six sessions will take place on June 15, 18, 22, 25, 29 and July 2 from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at the CEC, 3146 West Broadway. A showcase, which will include a brunch and program, will take place July 11 from noon to 2 p.m.
The theme of the six-week experience is “Africa … Coming to America.” The fee is $25 per couple per session ($150 for six session) and $15 per individual per sessoin ($90 for six sessions).
