Assumption High School’s speech and debate team won two state championship titles and placed second overall at the Kentucky High School Speech League’s state tournament at the University of Kentucky March 10 to 12.
Kailyn Deitz and Grace Gardone won the state title in varsity public forum debate. Carly Crawford and Jessica Parks won the state title in novice public forum debate.
