Ascension will offer electronics recycling Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to noon

Ascension Church, 4600 Lynnbrook Drive, will host an electronics drop-off day to support Catholic Charities of Louisville on Nov. 14.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, and electrical items, such as cables, CD-Rom drives, cellular phones, circuit boards, computer speakers, CPUs and CPU monitors, keyboards, laptops and other items will be accepted. Unacceptable items include light bulbs, batteries, ballasts and appliances.

All items will be accepted free with the exception of televisions, CRT monitors and microwaves, which can be dropped off for $5 for the first item, $10 for the second and $15 for the third.

A portion of proceeds from the sale of the recycled materials will benefit Catholic Charities.
