Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz has made the following appointment, effective May 20, 2019:
Rev. Joseph T. Graffis is administrator pro-tempore of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Father Graffis, born in Indianapolis, studied at St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore. He was ordained on May 29, 1971.
Since his ordination, Father Graffis has been assigned to the following parishes: pastor of Epiphany Church, St. Augustine Church and St. Edward Church; administrator pro-tempore at St. Gregory Church in Samuels, Ky., and St. Raphael Church; and, as an associate at St. Rita Church.
He has also served as executive secretary of the Personnel Commission, Chaplain for Bellarmine University and co-chaplain for Presentation Academy.
