Archbishop announces six new appointments

Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz has announced the following appointments effective June 18, 2014:

  • The Reverend Matthew T. Hardesty, pastor of Holy Trinity Church in Fredericktown, Ky., and Holy Rosary Church in Manton, Ky.
  • The Reverend David J. Carr, associate pastor, St. Albert the Great Church.
  • The Reverend Christopher B. Lubecke, associate pastor, Holy Trinity Church in Louisville.
  • The Reverend Christopher S. Rhodes, associate pastor, St. Patrick Church in Louisville.
  • The Reverend Michael T. Wimsatt, in residence at Holy Trinity in Louisville, effective Sept. 1, while continuing as associate director for seminarians.
  • The Reverend Mr. David A. Cockson, to be ordained to the priesthood on May 31, 2014, at the Cathedral of the Assumption, associate pastor of the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral in Bardstown, Ky., and St. Michael Church in Fairfield, Ky.
